Editorial and Advertising Policy

Purpose

Aging Gracefully helps families discover home-modification contractors and senior-support services. Pages are written for people, not to manufacture search traffic. We do not promise rankings to providers or guarantee outcomes to visitors.

How listings are assembled

Basic listing details may come from publicly available business information and provider submissions. We aim to show useful contact and service information, but inclusion is not an endorsement. Providers may request a free basic listing or correction. We may decline irrelevant, misleading, duplicate, unsafe, or unverifiable submissions.

Verification and ratings

We do not call a provider “verified” unless we describe the specific check performed. Visitors should independently confirm licenses, insurance, permits, credentials, and references. We do not currently display third-party ratings or review counts because their source, retrieval date, required attribution, and refresh cadence have not been verified.

Editorial standards

• Local pages should contain materially useful information relevant to that place—not just city-name substitutions.
• Health, benefits, cost, and safety statements should be framed carefully and linked to authoritative sources when practical.
• Material errors are corrected without requiring payment.
• Provider descriptions should be factual and should not contain unsupported superlatives or guarantees.

Advertising and affiliate relationships

Advertisements are labeled as advertisements. Sponsored or featured placements will be labeled so visitors can distinguish payment from ordinary directory inclusion. Affiliate links are identified and use appropriate link attributes. Compensation does not buy a positive review, factual claim, license status, or suppression of a legitimate correction.
